In your opinion is too old to do yoga, You Are too old Not to do the Yoga!
Aging is a process of decline, our beliefs on ageing are starting to change, and it has been shown that remains active throughout life prevents loss of muscle and improves bone health. The accepted view of ageing has been a fragile, hardening and loss of balance-a closure. The agency designed for contract, much heavier to draw, and without proper exercise/movement lose height, strength and flexibility. The result is that our natural range movements become limited and harder to do this become our daily activities. We are then in a downward spiral for ill-health and inactivity.
Yoga asanas/exercises reverse the ageing process by moving any joint in the body through a complete range of resolution-stretching, strengthening and balancing each part of this is the opposite to most weight bearing exercises which have been appointed to the muscles, this leads to a more stringent musculoskeletal system that adds rigidity and strength that can be installed in the House as we age.
yoga is not a religion, but a non-religious method for promoting a healthy and harmonious way of life. Any person of any bona fide practice of yoga and find or religion expanded as a result.Yoga and its sister science Ayurveda offers a unique holistic approach to health, is one of the oldest, most complete system for self-healthcare-you can do yourself, for yourself; it is an active approach to your health manufacture rather than passive. It is a very efficient way to keep healthy and fit.
Yoga asanas/exercises are restorative in nature and help recharge and regeneration of organism energy improvement of strength and flexibility in the body.This helps you cope with stress and also contribute to preventing illness, disease and degeneration.Also, it is fun to be able to find a new freedom within your movements which you cannot live from childhood.
As I grow older I Find two free and exciting to feel greater freedom of movement, and a greater strength, balance and transparency within my House when I was younger. yoga as a teacher, I think it is a constant delight to see my students-all ages-improve posture and balance, and also enjoy the new found strength and flexibility. All necessary to deal with ageing in today’s world, or to cope fullstop!
